Legislature Grants Apps N Taps Liquor License

BOSTON – The Legislature has passed legislation that will grant the City of Amesbury an additional all alcohol liquor license for Apps N Taps, a new restaurant proposed for 9 Water Street, State Representative Michael A. Costello announced.

“It’s always exciting to see new restaurants opening, particularly in the Lower Millyard area where there are many efforts underway to promote economic development,” said Representative Costello. “This entry should add to the vibrant downtown scene.”

The Legislature has laid the liquor license bill on the desk of Governor Patrick, who has 10 days to sign it.

“It is critical for the state to help promote private investment in our communities, and this is a small way that we can help do that,” said State Senator Steven A. Baddour. “I look forward to attending the opening of another great restaurant in downtown Amesbury.”
